Stopped off here on the way to Neist Point. The gardens are a nice little walk, and the castle is good but doesn't allow photography. The main event here was the boat trip to see the seals (an extra £7.50 per adult). The boat is tiny, and the water can be choppy. Depending on how you feel about that you'll either have a brilliant time or 25 minutes running over what you'll do in the event of a capsize. I may have been closer to the latter, but the seals really were brilliant to see. We sailed very close to the them, got some good photos, and gave my daughter her first chance to get so close to seals. "Woof woof," she said...
Very nice castle, gorgeous furnishings & historic items & art. Gardens are extensive. Formal square layout, circle garden, water garden with waterfalls & streams, & woodland walkway. Would be a 5-star, but as with most castles with expensive art & articles, no photos are allowed inside! Café serving lunches & 2 gift shops. Plenty of parking, even for buses & caravans!

Good small general store in Dunvegan village. Groceries, fruit and veg, chilled foods and newspapers are only some of products on sale.
They have everything except for tropical five alive (mainly because it's not being produced anymore) otherwise great shop

Great food with local ingredients. Really nice staff and reasonably priced for the quality of the meal. Good selection of beers and whiskeys. Would definitely recommend and visit again if in the area.
In this place I ate one of the best dishes of my life: Monk fish risotto (absolutely delicious), so I totally recommend it. The seafood and shellfish were amazing: really good cooked and very tasty. Another important thing to keep in mind is that the price is fair for the good ingredients used in the dishes. Summarzing: don't skip it if you come to Dunvengan :)
