Local Chambers of Commerce for IV55. These can be an extraordinarily effective way of getting into the business community and / or getting things done. Equally they can be entirely useless depending on the chair. If they have networking events associated with them definitely go, and keep going, if you have a business that need local support. What you put in is exactly what you get out. Below is the national site. Watch this slot - it might improve!
Dunvegan Castle & Gardens

MacLeod Estate, Dunvegan House, Dunvegan, Isle of Skye IV55 8WF, UK – 01470 521206

Stopped off here on the way to Neist Point. The gardens are a nice little walk, and the castle is good but doesn't allow photography. The main event here was the boat trip to see the seals (an extra £7.50 per adult). The boat is tiny, and the water can be choppy. Depending on how you feel about that you'll either have a brilliant time or 25 minutes running over what you'll do in the event of a capsize. I may have been closer to the latter, but the seals really were brilliant to see. We sailed very close to the them, got some good photos, and gave my daughter her first chance to get so close to seals. "Woof woof," she said...

Interesting place if you enjoy clan history. The castle has a number of interesting rooms and details of the clan chiefs through the years. Try pick a dry day and take in the gardens.

The Backrest

Absolutely amazing in every sense. The house is beautiful and eco friendly. The view is simply stunning. It's close to local shops so easy to get in supplies. If you love solitude, scenic views, and excellent accommodation then this place is for you.

The Three Chimneys and The House Over-by

Colbost House, B884, Dunvegan, Colbost, Isle of Skye IV55 8ZT, UK – 01470 511258

Absolutely wonderful experience at Three Chimneys. Met with afternoon tea, spacious room and friendly service. We opted for the taster menu at dinner and it was one of the best meals I've ever had - land and sea; all produce from Skye or thereabouts with an extensive wine selection. Great night's sleep and fab breakfast. We were looked after but not smothered. Couldn't fault it, really.

Good but not quite there in terms of what you expect from this standard of dining. I found it to be quite far away from experience you get at The Kitchin. Which is comparable in terms of price and ethos. Whilst the food was good it seemed to be lacking in wow factor. Service friendly though was a bit awkward at times.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Dunvegan

The Old School Restaurant

Dunvegan, Isle of Skye IV55 8GU, UK – 01470 521421

Great food with local ingredients. Really nice staff and reasonably priced for the quality of the meal. Good selection of beers and whiskeys. Would definitely recommend and visit again if in the area.

In this place I ate one of the best dishes of my life: Monk fish risotto (absolutely delicious), so I totally recommend it. The seafood and shellfish were amazing: really good cooked and very tasty. Another important thing to keep in mind is that the price is fair for the good ingredients used in the dishes. Summarzing: don't skip it if you come to Dunvengan :)
